How billing works
What does the subscription cover?
The app itself — the generation, the editor, and the push to Jira. Under BYOK Pro, the AI compute is paid separately, directly to Anthropic, using your own API key (typically a few cents per breakdown). There is no vendor markup on AI.
How is the per-user price calculated?
Spec2Tickets is sold as “Paid via Atlassian,” so it's billed per user through the Atlassian Marketplace, in USD. Teams of up to 10 users pay a flat $57/month; above that it's $6.70/user/month, with volume discounts that begin above 100 users. The Marketplace always shows the exact price for your team size before you subscribe.
Is there a free plan?
There's a full 30-day free trial rather than a permanent free tier — every feature is available while you evaluate. After the trial, an active subscription keeps the app running.
What is Managed Pro?
An upcoming edition where Spec2Tickets runs Claude for you, so you don't need to bring an Anthropic key — planned at $13/user/month with a generous fair-use allowance per user. It uses our own Anthropic account, so a customer data-processing addendum and sub-processor disclosure apply; you can also read how it handles your data on our privacy page. BYOK Pro remains the privacy-maximising choice.
How do I manage or cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are handled through the Atlassian Marketplace and your Atlassian site administration, alongside your other Atlassian apps.
Prices are in USD and set through the Atlassian Marketplace. Early-access pricing — we grandfather early adopters as the product grows. Managed Pro (coming soon) is planned at $13/user/month and opens when that edition launches.
